Most towns in Nebraska do something to celebrate Christmas, even if it’s just a couple of festive lights on Main Street. A lot of towns and cities go a little nuts with the decorations. And then there’s North Platte, which every year for about a month turns into just about the most magical city in Nebraska.
The Golden Spike Tower gets in on the action with their “Christmas Around the World” display. This year, the theme is Christmas trees around the world.
We can’t forget the annual Christmas parade or the many, many other decorations and events that make a North Platte Christmas so special. This video gives an exciting flyover view of some of North Platte’s greatest holiday events.
