Located on the banks of the Platte River, this nature center is the temporary home to more than 600,000 Sandhill Cranes during the spring and fall migrations.
The Crane Trust river blinds are dotted along the river and provide guests with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of the cranes without disturbing the animals.
If you’re up to it, you can also book a tour to the center’s private footbridge over the Platte River, where you’ll enjoy a 360-degree open-air view of large crane flocks gliding across the sky above.
