Pizza is the great culinary equalizer. No matter who or where you are, chances are that you love pizza. And who could blame you? It’s delicious, filling, convenient, and inexpensive. That love of pizza is what brought Village Pizza to the little town of Hemingford in 2019, and it’s what keeps bringing customers back again and again.
Village Pizza hasn't been around long, but it's made an impact on this town of fewer than 1000 people. In fact, folks come in from neighboring towns to pick up a pie for dinner. The pizzeria even offers low-carb and dairy-free options, which aren't always easy to find in small-town restaurants.
The shop is cozy and welcoming and filled with helpful, friendly staff members. Need help building your own pizza? Or maybe you're curious about one of the specials on the menu. Either way, the folks behind the counter are always happy to help.
In addition to pizza, the shop serves subs, salads, and starters. You can order from the menu or build your own from the list of available ingredients. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed!
If you're feeling especially hungry, start off your meal with some delicious wings - there are bone-in and boneless varieties - or some breadsticks or cheese bread. But you may just want to save room for the main event, and that's totally understandable.
The pizza is always hot and fresh, served on hand-stretched dough and loaded with delicious toppings. The cheeseburger pizza, pictured below, is a Nebraska classic.
Village Pizza offers lunch and dinner specials. Stop in for a midday meal and you'll get to choose from slices such as jalapeño popper, chicken parmesan, Philly cheesesteak, or spinach artichoke chicken. Order a whole pie for dinner and enjoy one of the special dinner discounts.
Village Pizza is open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Check out the daily specials and news about this local favorite on its Facebook page.
