If you thought waterparks in Nebraska were limited to the splash pads at local parks, think again. We’ve got several impressive waterparks throughout the state, but today we’re taking a trip to the Aquacourt in Hastings. The city-owned facility combines the best parts of a waterpark and a city park to create an experience that’s worth traveling for.
There's no need to stay inside all summer to escape the unbearable heat. Just grab the kids and head to Hastings Aquacourt where everyone is sure to find something to love.
You won't have to save up for months to enjoy a day of splashing and playing - admission here is less than $10 per person, and season pass holders can enjoy unlimited visits all summer long for one price.

And, unlike your average city park, the Aquacourt is packed full of fun things to do every single day.
The water slides are some of the most popular attractions. The park features a family slide, a drop slide, a flute slide, and a tube slide. Ride them all to see which one is your favorite!

Scoot gradually into the zero-depth entry pool or go all-in from one of the diving boards.
Trained lifeguards are on hand at all times to make sure your day of fun is also safe. The Aquacourt also offers swimming lessons taught by skilled, certified instructors.
If you're in the mood for adventure, the interactive splash playground is the place to be. Two huge buckets periodically dump gallons and gallons of water on anyone who's lucky enough to be in the vicinity.
The park also features a Key Log roller, an aquatic tool that teaches log rolling in a fun, safe environment. Log rolling is a great workout and also helps to develop balance and core strength. It may look like a toy, but it's much more!
There are special times set aside daily for "river walking," when you can get some gentle aerobic exercise by walking, rather than floating, down the lazy river.
Additional features of the Aquacourt include a climbing wall, concessions stand, plenty of deck space for relaxing, and lockers for storing your things. You can even rent the entire facility or just part of it for your private nighttime event. Find out more about hours, prices, rules, and more on the Aquacourt webpage or on the Hastings Parks and Recreation Facebook page. Have you ever been to Island Oasis? What was your favorite part? Tell us about your experiences in the comments!
