8 Totally True Stereotypes Nebraskans Should Just Accept As Fact
No one likes being stereotyped – we’re all individuals and there’s no way to describe all of us with just one sweeping generalization. Having said that, though, there’s sometimes some truth to stereotypes. Like it or not, we should probably just accept that these are true… at least for some of us.

For us natives it's a normal part of living in the Great Plains. For newcomers, visitors, and spectators, tornadoes are just about the scariest kind of weather imaginable.

BUT not every Nebraskan is a big Huskers fan. (Still, I wouldn't recommend announcing in the middle of a sports bar that you don't like college football unless you want strangers trying to convince you that you're wrong.)
