Although temperatures this summer have been ridiculously hot, you still couldn’t call Nebraska tropical by any means. But there is one little island of tropical life – appropriately enough, it’s located in the city of Grand Island.

The first thing you'll notice, of course, is the 6-foot-long fiberglass shark jutting out from the front of the restaurant. It's kind of unmissable.

Inside, there is a definite beach vibe everywhere you look. Surfboards, boat parts, seashells and other beach-themed decorations line the walls.
