Living in Nebraska is truly an unforgettable experience. We all have different life experiences, of course, but these are some of the basic things that every Nebraskan can expect to experience at some point in their lives.

1. Get stuck behind a tractor on the road.

5. Have an off-road adventure.

9. Say a little prayer as you lose control of your car on the ice.

10. Eat so much sweetcorn that you get a little sick.

11. Spend a day on the river.

12. Go to the Nebraska State Fair.

21. Visit the most beautiful landscapes in the state.

22. Talk to strangers.

23. Make the trip to the other side of the state.

Whether you live in the east or the west, the other end is like a completely different world. And if you live in central Nebraska, well, you've got TWO sides of the state to visit.
24. Do the farmer wave.

It's the polite thing to do when you pass someone on a country road. It feels strangely satisfying when the other person returns it.
