There’s nothing like a juicy burger grilled to perfection, and there are plenty of places in Nebraska to find them, but some burger joints are truly special. There’s a little bar and grill in Bellevue that has massive burgers, and each one is a work of art that you’ll want to sink your teeth into. Check out Stella’s Bar & Grill:
When you're craving a burger, there's no better place to go than Stella's Bar & Grill in Bellevue. This place has been serving up delicious food since 1936, and the burgers here are absolutely amazing.
Stella and Al Sullivan opened their little restaurant in a tiny 12 x 15-foot room more than 80 years ago, and today it's still owned by the family. It's a bustling, busy spot, especially on weekends.
You might have to wait for a table, but once you get a look at these burgers, you'll see that it's well worth the wait!

The burgers at Stella's are massive, and they're top-quality, too. They've been named Best Burger by Omaha Magazine, Nebraska Beef Council, Business Insider, Gourmet Magazine, and more.
The secret to Stella's success? The burgers are all created with fresh (never frozen) hamburger meat, rolled into a 6.5-ounce ball, then hand-pressed on the grill. They're juicy and flavorful. Then they're topped with other quality ingredients that will make your mouth water.

You'll find seven specialty burgers on the menu, or you can create your own. Make your burger or cheeseburger a single, double, or triple, or try the Impossible Burger, which is a plant-based burger that tastes and looks like the real thing.
Specialty burger favorites include masterpieces like the pastrami burger (shown here), Swiss mushroom burger, Southwest burger, and bacon & blue cheese burger.
If this is your first time at Stella's, go with the classic: The Stella Burger. It's graced with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. Make it a double for a true work of art.
This thing is humongous! It includes six burger patties, six fried eggs, six slices of cheese, 12 slices of bacon, lettuce, tomato, fried onions, pickles, jalapenos, peanut butter, and a bun. Served with a side of fries, this whole meal must be consumed in 45 minutes. If you lose, you pay $35 and you'll get your picture on the Wall of Shame. If you win, you'll score an "I Crushed the Stellanator" t-shirt, get your picture on the Wall of Fame, and get your meal for free.
