Not only is Smith Falls the tallest waterfall in the state, but it sits at the end of an easy, family-friendly nature trail.
The park is located about three miles from Sparks. It's named after Frederic Smith, the first person who filed the smallholding patent on the property surrounding the falls.
Believe it or not, this is Nebraska's newest state park. It was founded in 1992.
