The holidays will be here before we know it. Have you decorated your home yet? Get the perfect centerpiece for your home – and maybe even start a new family tradition – at this delightful Christmas tree farm.
Pinecrest Tree Farm is located in Blue Springs, in Gage County.
Every year, families pile into their cars and set out to find the perfect Christmas tree. It's so fun to see little ones in their winter coats and hats bobbing through the rows of trees, looking for just the right one.
If you love the idea of a fresh Christmas tree but you're not so fond of the cold, you can actually come to the farm in September when it's warmer to buy one of the pre-tagged trees. It will stay right there in the ground until you come to pick it up closer to the holidays.
But for the full Christmas tree farm experience, we recommend taking the hayrack out into the rows. Mixed in among the thousands of green trees, you'll also see a few brightly painted trees. They're the perfect accessory if you're going for a quirky holiday theme.
When you've finally found your tree, it's time to come back to the little shop. You can grab a hot cup of coffee or apple cider to sip while you take in all that the shop has to offer.
The holiday shop is filled to the rafters with ornaments, figurines, signs, candles, fresh wreaths, and gifts of all kinds. If someone on your gift list is a bit hard to shop for, you'll almost certainly find something here that they'll love.
The farm has its own team of talented people turning out beautiful gifts and keepsakes that will not only delight you this season but become a regular part of your holiday decor.
This is the perfect destination for those of us who just can’t wait to start decorating for the holiday season! Pinecrest Tree Farm is open every day from 9 a.m. to dark, November to December 21. They also have fall hours, so keep them in mind for next September! Find out more about the trees and the holiday shop on the official website or Facebook page.
