Flanagan Lake, located on the very northwestern edge of Omaha, was opened in 2018. Since its inception, it’s been a popular place for walkers, joggers, cyclists, and anyone who wants to get out and enjoy nature. Although it’s in a residential area and near some busy streets, the atmosphere on the trail is calm – and there are endless scenic places to explore.










Be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen and bring ample drinking water when you walk this easy trail. This is a wide-open space with very little shade. The Flanagan Lake Trail is open all year.
