Graley's Creamery & Confections opened in historic downtown Papillion in 2018. It quickly became a go-to spot for everyone looking for a delicious treat.
Things are done a little slower and more deliberate here than you might expect from other ice cream shops. The parlor is designed to take you back to the Victorian era with its sweet simplicity, and it succeeds admirably.
The idea is that ice cream shops used to be a place where families and friends gathered and amazing memories were made. Graley's wants to bring that back - so don't be surprised when the person serving up your scoop is dressed like they stepped out of the 19th century.
The ice cream is all handmade using old-fashioned techniques and equipment that your grandparents would recognize. The fresh ingredients are put together right here in the shop to create tons of deep, delicious, distinctive flavors that will delight the whole family.
Even the waffle cones are made right here in the shop! You'll smell the divine aroma as soon as you walk through the door. If one could live on smells alone, this would be the one we'd choose.
But tasting is even better than smelling, so go ahead and choose your favorite flavor. They rotate, so you'll want to keep coming back to try them all. Stick with the standards or get a little adventurous and try one of the unique creations like hot chocolate chili or Chicago popcorn.
