I think we can all agree that Nebraskans are pretty amazing folks – the best people you’ll ever meet. Not only do we win the prize for our friendly personalities, but we really shine at many things that others can’t We hate to brag, but we’re the best at these 13 things, hands down.
People all over the country owe a big thank you to the hard work of Nebraska farmers. We produce beef, corn, soybeans and wheat that helps feed the nation.
Nebraskans have the best worth ethic, and we aren't afraid to roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty.

Sure, other cities across the country celebrate St. Patrick's Day. But how many can say that their population doubles on this day? The little town of O'Neill is home to around 4,000 people, but when it's time to honor the patron saint of Ireland, 8,000 folks show up to party.

We're the nicest folks on the planet, hands down. We always have a smile for everyone we meet, and we'll chat you up in the grocery store line even though we've never met you.
We love football, and we love our Huskers. We love them so much that we fill Memorial Stadium to capacity on game days. 90,000 fans all in one place makes for a pretty loud, pretty proud crowd.
Nebraska is one of the best stargazing places in the world. Our unpolluted air and dark skies draw people from all over the place to witness the beauty of the universe.
