Last year, CreditDonkey did a study to determine the happiest towns in Nebraska. They measured happiness by using data for restaurants, crime rates, commute times, departure times (for work in the morning), income, divorce rate, and housing. Check out the findings below and see if your town is on the list.
Fremont is the tenth happiest town in Nebraska, located about 35 miles from Omaha. Hormel, the maker of SPAM, is located in Fremont.
Your odds of being the victim of a violent crime are insanely low in York, at only one in 1,964. There are also tons of restaurants here, and that snazzy water tower.

The average commute time in McCook is shorter than average, at 11 minutes.

Ralston has a ton of restaurants and bars, and also is home to the Ralston Arena, which is home to the the Omaha Lancers hockey team.
Papillion is a remarkably affluent and safe town; the median income is $73,988 and your odds of being the victim are one in 2,433.
