The park is open year-round, but in June, everything's a little prettier thanks to an abundance of greenery, wildlife, and sights to see. Plus, everything's a little more wonderful on its birthday, right? At least I think so.
Rent (or bring) a kayak and try your hand at paddling; if the natural water isn't your thing, check out the swimming pool instead.

The wonders contained within Chadron State Park are never-ending, as long as you've got the imagination and ability to find something new about it every time you visit.
Of course, should you feel so sentimental that you don't want to leave, you can always spend a few nights camping (or lounging in a cabin).

This stunning state park is wonderful day or night – overhead, you can expect an enormous number of stars. If you’re a lover of equestrian shenanigans, from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, you can attend a trail ride at the park. You just never know – there’s always something going on.
