There’s no denying that Nebraska’s state parks and recreation areas are full of fun for all ages. But if you’re a fan of quiet, peaceful days spent in nature, you may want to avoid the most popular destinations. Instead, take a trip to Victoria Springs Recreation Area, an underrated and absolutely breathtaking little spot where you can camp, fish, hike, and even navigate the lake in a paddleboat.
You can reserve some of the campsites up to a year in advance, while others are first-come, first-served. You’ll need a Nebraska parks pass to get in, which can be purchased in advance or at the park.
What do you think – will you be visiting this beautiful but underrated park? Let us know in the comments! While you’re in the area, be sure to check out Callaway, a nearby town that also happens to be one of Nebraska’s hidden gems.
