2. Crystal Key Inn - 314 S 4th St, Newman Grove, NE 68758
Warning, warning: Once you stay at the Crystal Key Inn you may have issues with ever wanting to spend a couple days off anywhere else. Cozy elegant rooms with a splash of the past combined with a home-cooked breakfast served in a formal fashion will spoil you for staying anywhere else. As of July 2017, it's under new management and open again after a brief closing. More info here.

3. Oft's Bed and Breakfast - 11523 N 156th St, Bennington, NE 68007
This tranquil historic home is a treasure. It has been in the same family since it was built in 1910 and is currently owned by the fourth generation. We hear the breakfasts are outstanding. More info here.

4. Carriage House Bed & Breakfast - 25478 S 23rd Rd, Beatrice, NE 68310
Located to the east of Beatrice on 10 glorious acres far removed from any city nonsense, the Carriage House B&B is a great place to get away from it all. With six nicely appointed guest rooms and a large wrap-around porch there's plenty of room for everyone. More info here.
This old-time charmer is a modernized version of the year is was built: 1901. Large guest rooms with baths, a huge breakfast and a great back deck are hallmarks of the Commercial Hotel B&B. More info here.
6. Wunder Roost Bed & Breakfast - 14817 S 25th St, Roca, NE 68430
Located on a 100-year old farm just 15 minutes from downtown Lincoln. The Wunder Roost can sleep up to 10 people, plus...there's a hot tub. More info here.
7. Liberty House B&B - 441 N 5th St, Seward, NE 68434
Not far from Concordia University or the shops and great dining downtown. This small B&B offers a luxurious suite (see pics on provided link) not far from all the action. More info here.
8. Lu Ruche Bed & Breakfast - 1027 N 2nd St, Seward, NE 68434
Stay in this 1904 Queen Anne style Victorian and you'll want one of your own. The guest rooms are graciously appointed with all the comforts of home. La Ruche Bed & Breakfast is only three blocks from Condordia University.
Whether you duck out of town at one of the B & Bs on our previous list here, or one of these little known inns, the point is to get away for at least a couple of days and relax.
