As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Taking a vacation doesn’t always have to mean going far from home. You can get the experience of staying in a new, unique place right here in Nebraska at this Omaha Airbnb. It’s located in the charming, up-and-coming Little Bohemia neighborhood, just south of the Old Market.
You'll be charmed from the very moment you step into this Little Bohemia home. If you're interested in exploring the area while you're here, a variety of literature just inside the front door will tell you all about the attractions nearby.
The cozy home has been beautifully cared for and lovingly updated. The woodwork and gorgeous hardwood floors are characteristic of homes in this area, and the white walls make this place feel even more clean and spacious.
Step into the dining room which has enough seating for everyone in your party. The built-in china cabinet is a beautiful piece of antique woodwork that's also characteristic of homes from this era and area.
The home can accommodate up to eight guests in its three bedrooms. One of the rooms features bunk beds with what the host calls "probably the most comfortable top bunk bed in history." This room also contains a TV with cable and a mini SNES with two controllers.
The main bathroom has its original clawfoot tub, which is the focal point of the bright, airy room. Updated fixtures and stylish walls make this bathroom so pretty that you'll want to linger a few extra minutes in the shower.
The living room has everything you need to make you feel at home. Curl up on the sofa under one of the provided throws while you read a book, play a board game, or watch some TV.
The kitchen still has its original washboard sink, a beautiful vintage piece that really ties the room together. Pots and pans, plates and bowls, silverware, cups, and utensils are all provided so you can cook your own meals if you wish.
The kitchen also has a French press, hot tea, herbs and spices, sugar, salt, and oil to help you make the most of your cooking experience. But if you prefer not to cook, there are tons of restaurants nearby that you can walk, bike, or drive to - or just stay put and order delivery!
The upstairs space is the true point of pride in this unique home. The den features nearly wall-to-wall reclaimed barnwood, all installed by a local carpenter.
A partial bath, extra seating, and TV and music setup make the den the place you'll want to spend most of your time. Step out onto the balcony for a gorgeous view of this distinctive neighborhood.
The neighborhood is full of trendy shops, bars, restaurants, and other businesses to explore. The house is just a few minutes from the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, TD Ameritrade Park, the Old Market, and many more popular attractions.
