The lovely gardens at the Omaha Botanical Center offer four seasons of stunning plant displays all around their property. There are 100 wonderful acres to explore, where you get to experience plant conservation in action.
You’ll see educational signs all around the property.
Find out which plants are wonderful for butterfly gardens, and how important pollinators are. In fact, their current exhibit, "Pollination Investigation," invites you to learn all about the beautiful pollinators that keeps plants thriving.
This tranquil oasis cultivates a diverse collection of plants, including ones that grow spectacularly in their conservatory.
They do a lot of work conserving many endangered plant species that live in the Great Plains. By visiting here, you won’t just get to spend time immersing yourself in one of the most beautiful spots in Omaha, you’ll also be helping out a great cause!

One of the most popular displays in this model railroad garden. This whimsical display places a model train running through a beautiful display of plants.
They also offer an event called Leashes at Lauritzen.
Take your leashed dog around the gardens, so every member of your family can enjoy this wonderful spot! They even offer water and treats at stations around the property.

Children ages 3-12 are $5.00 per person, and adults are $10.00 a person. You must make a timed reservation when you purchase your tickets. The gardens are open from 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. daily.
