Sometimes you can tell what to expect from a restaurant by the outside – but the best restaurants are often hiding behind unassuming exteriors. This steakhouse in western Nebraska doesn’t look like much from the parking lot, but you’ll love the dining experience you’ll find inside.
The Steel Grill 64 is located in Bridgeport, in Morrill County. It looks a bit plain from the outside, but there's a very good reason that people come from miles around - from Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado - to taste the delicious offerings here.
One of the perennial favorites is the steak nachos. The enormous plate is packed full of tender, perfectly cooked steak and other toppings that make for an awesome appetizer for the table or even a filling meal.
But there are plenty of other delicacies on the menu. Even the burgers, which are sometimes the plainest part of a restaurant's menu, are outstanding. Folks have been known to drive for an hour or more to sample these yummy morsels.
The homey atmosphere perfectly complements the savory, delicious food. You'll feel welcome every time you walk through the door, just like you're walking into a dinner with family.
