Getting away for a vacation or a mini-break should be all about finding a little slice of heaven that makes you happy, then spending as much time as possible there. This sweet privately-owned campground in central Nebraska is just about as close to a fairytale setting as you’ll find here in the Cornhusker State, and you’ll want to be sure to visit as soon and as often as possible.
Nebraska's Hidden Valley Campground is located seven miles southeast of the scenic Sandhills town of Arnold.
Two lakes flank the campground and the river. The whole area has a beautiful, lush covering of vegetation that enhances the feeling you're in a fairytale setting.
It's also the perfect place for your next family reunion or other gathering. Rent the pavilion and spend the day catching up in one of the prettiest places in Nebraska.
You've really got to see this gorgeous spot in person to appreciate how truly serene and scenic it is. Taking a vacation here is truly getting away from it all.
Fees for camping range from $15/night for primitive sites to $25/night for RV sites with water and electricity (some also have sewer). The fee gets you a fishing pass and use of the beach, paddleboat, and inner tubes. Canoes and kayaks are available to rent for an additional charge.
