Finally, the sun is breaking through, the temperatures are warming up, and spring is here. Pretty soon we’ll be celebrating Easter and stuffing ourselves with chocolate and jelly beans. There are tons of Easter festivals and egg hunts all across the state to enjoy, but only one claims to be the biggest this side of the Mississippi.
Master's Hand is a sweet, locally-owned store in Tekamah that specializes in candles, gifts, handmade chocolates, luncheons, and a whole lot of fun.
The main event, of course, is the Easter egg hunt. More than 25,000 (yes, 25 THOUSAND) eggs are placed around the store's grounds. Age groups are set looks on the lawn in waves so the littler kids have a chance at collecting as many eggs as they can.
In addition to the events geared toward kids, there are contests, entertainment, and special sales for the grownups. If you've heard about Master's Hand and always wanted to visit, the Spring Fling is the perfect time to check it out!
Master’s Hand is located at 3599 County Rd F Tekamah, NE. The 2019 Spring Fling will take place on Saturday, April 20th from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit the store’s website or the event’s Facebook page to learn more about the events, schedule, and more.
