There’s something incredibly charming about any business with “Mercantile” in its name, and Central Mercantile in Kearney is no exception. The kitchen supply shop is located in a business district like no other, and it works to support other local businesses. But that’s not all you’ll love about it.
Located in Kearney’s Downtown on the Bricks area, Central Mercantile is a fun, locally-owned store that carries kitchenware, home goods, and a few other bits and bobs.
There’s something here for every sweet tooth. Grab an assortment of delicacies to enjoy in the seating area or take some treats to work and be the office hero.
With advance notice, the bakery can do large orders for your next event (or when you just really, really want several dozen cookies in your house - we won't judge).
...And they're some of the most beautiful cakes we've ever seen. The time and skill that go into making these sweet masterpieces makes them all the more delicious.
The cinnamon rolls are life-changing. Ok, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but once you taste these fresh rolls, you'll never want to go back to those abominations that come in a tube from the grocery store.
