This winery not only serves amazing wines; it also provides a breathtaking setting in which to enjoy them.
Deer Springs Winery is located on the outskirts of Lincoln, but it feels much more removed from the city than it actually is. The tasting room is located in a restored 1880s farmhouse that really sets the scene for this remarkable experience.
When you visit, you're welcome to roam the vineyards; no formal tours are given, but wandering the grounds yourself is the perfect way to enjoy this unique area.
No matter the time of year, there's always something beautiful to see at Deer Creek Winery. From the deep greens of the summer to the golds and browns of the fall to the serene frostiness of winter, the scenery here is always gorgeous.
On Friday nights June through August, the winery offers wood-fired pizzas for purchase, and there are other events throughout the year where food vendors offer delicious treats...
But how's the wine, you may ask? It's some of our very favorite Nebraska-made wine, and with several varieties of reds and whites there's something to please every vino lover.
