Camping usually means either pounding some tent stakes into the ground or setting up your camper at just the right site. But a campground in Waterloo (in Douglas County) gives you a much more exciting option: you can sleep inside a real Union Pacific caboose.
The above video details the other amenities you can find at Two Rivers. The cabooses are only available for rent from April through September every year. You can book your stay up to a year in advance for next year’s stay. You’ll also need a Nebraska parks pass to get into the recreation area.
