El Dorado is a little hole-in-the-wall that’s been a fixture in South Omaha’s dining scene for years. It’s the kind of place you may have driven past dozens of times without noticing it. But if you’re a fan of authentic Mexican cuisine and enormous portions, and you’re on the hunt for the best seafood platter in Nebraska, it’s time to take notice.
The family-owned restaurant enjoys prime real estate on the southern edge of South Omaha's 24th Street Historic District. The area is the epicenter of Mexican and Latin American cultures in the city, and one can enjoy an entire day of international experiences within a compact, walkable area.
