Antique hunters have almost endless shopping options in Nebraska, with nearly every city and town having at least one shop specializing in well-aged collectibles. This one shop in central Nebraska should be a destination for everyone who enjoys seeking out vintage treasures…as well as everyone who loves tasty treats.
The little city of Burwell has a population of just over 1,200 people. It's the home of Nebraska's Big Rodeo, and the community has the kind of town pride that makes living in Nebraska such a joy.
Since then, the building has changed functions a few times but has remained in the same family. Today, it houses a unique business that brings visitors from far and near.
When you're done with shopping (or if you need to fuel up before you explore), have a seat in the delightful cafe area. The Hub has one of only a few functioning soda fountains in Nebraska.
Get an old-fashioned ice cream soda, sundae, banana split, or malt. Or enjoy a coffee, a piece of pie, or a light snack while you sit and admire your new purchases or maybe visit with other shoppers.
