While Montana has become a mecca for beer enthusiasts in recent years, when you think of Big Sky Country, wine isn’t typically the first thing that comes to mind. But thanks to a “cowboy wine maker” named Clint Peck, Billings is home to Yellowstone Cellars & Winery – and whether or not you enjoy a glass of vino, you’ll love visiting the space.
His family has roots in Montana, so this was where he wanted to be. He settled into a 3,000 square foot industrial space south of Highway 90 near Josephine Crossing and got to work.
Locals love the fact that the winery is family-friendly and that the space is so welcoming.

Look over the menu when you arrive, and the friendly staff will help you decide what to taste. Glass pours are also served for $6 or $7, depending on what you get.
