A few of the best things about Montana include the unique history and fantastic food. And, the absolute best thing is when those two things converge. You’ll find a great example of that hidden away in little Fort Benton. Located inside one of the most historic hotels in the state, you’ll find a restaurant that’s both beautiful and delicious. With high ceilings and ornate woodwork, this historic restaurant in Montana offers a perfect cross-section of the state.
Welcome to the Grand Union Hotel, located in Fort Benton. The hotel dates back to 1882, making it one of the most interesting in the state.
When it opened it was considered the finest hotel between Seattle and St. Louis. It owes a lot of its hype to the location right along the Missouri River. It's been renovated since then, making it even more wonderful.
And, the food? The food is truly worth the attention this restaurant gets. Dig into their farm-to-table menu for some of the freshest food you've ever had.
You'll also love just how eclectic the menu is. From steak to seafood to fresh spring rolls, it really feels like this historic restaurant in Montana has it all!
