There’s A Winter Fair Happening In Montana And You’ll Absolutely Want To Go
There are two types of Montanans: those who stay home and hibernate all winter and those who know it’s just another beautiful season worth celebrating. And if you fall into the latter category, you’ll be happy to hear that Montana’s Winter Fair is returning to Lewistown at the end of January. This 75-year tradition is better than ever.

It all takes place in Lewistown, the center of Montana.

Montana Winter Fair continues to grow each year, welcoming people from Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, and all over the Treasure State. But the mission remains the same: Celebrating Montana Agriculture and our Western way of life.

Cheer on the outdoor activities like Skijoring, livestock shows, and other snow sports, or stay cozy inside.

We sure have some talented quilters here in Montana.

And this year, there will be a death by chocolate competition. We're not entirely sure what that entails, but there are definitely worse ways to go.

It takes hundreds of helpful people to sponsor and put on this event, but it's never easy to find help. After all, everyone loves learning more about Montana's roots.
Have you ever been to the Montana Winter Fair? Find out more about this coming year’s lineup as well as where to stay when you visit Lewistown on the official website.
