This Old-Fashioned Montana Saloon Has The Most Creative Mac & Cheese Menu Ever

And if your favorite comfort food happens to be mac & cheese, we hope you’ve had the good fortune of enjoying a meal at the Windbag Saloon & Grill in Helena. Between the almost 140-year-old building, the friendly service, the charming ambiance, and the tasty food, this place is always a good time — and if you happen to love mac & cheese, it’s heaven on Earth.

Originally constructed in 1882, it served as a bowling alley, a movie theater, Helena's last bordello, and a burlesque hall. The building is part of St. Louis Block in downtown Helena and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The saloon is an all-ages eatery, so young Montanans are welcome here.
