This Easy Wildflower Hike In Montana Will Transport You Into A Sea Of Color
While most of Montana’s most beautiful trails are still covered in snow, it won’t be long (we promise) before the ground is green and the wildflowers are in bloom. And while you’ll see colorful flora on many of the Treasure State’s finest trails, there are a few hikes that are known mainly for their wildflowers. Sypes Canyon is one of them.

It's about 6 miles long, and although it has a few challenging spots, it's a good hike for all skill levels.

You'll end up on an overlook with amazing views of the Gallatin Valley, Bozeman, and the Madison, Gallatin, and Tobacco Root Mountains.

From June until September, they'll enhance your entire journey.

Striped coralroot and beautiful asters are also common.

This hike is fun in any season, but to experience the beauty of the wildflowers, you’ll have to wait a few more months. In the meantime, try one of Montana’s best spring hikes.
