The Breathtaking Park In Montana Where You Can Watch Wild Horses Roam
Those of us lucky enough to call Montana home love it for many reasons, but mainly we adore it because there’s so much breathtaking natural scenery to explore. From our hiking trails perfect for walking to our snowy mountains perfect for skiing, there’s truly something for everyone in Big Sky Country.
There’s even an island where you just might see wild horses (and you’ll almost certainly see wildlife). And if you’ve never been to Wild Horse Island State Park, perhaps it’s time to pay it a visit.

The island has been a landmark since the Salish-Kootenai Indians were reported to have used it to pasture horses to keep them from being stolen by other tribes.
