For a ghost town, Montana’s Virginia City can be quite lively during the summertime. But in any other season, it’s quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. And thanks to this unique vacation rental, you can enjoy it to the fullest while staying in a turn-of-the-century homestead cabin.
Virginia City Homestead is a charming cabin that sits nestled in the heart of Virginia City, about 85 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
But if you'd like to go into town for a bite to eat, you'll have a short two-minute drive or an easy 10-15 minute walk over the hill to downtown Virginia City.
The current owners and hosts, Jon and Rikki, actually saved it from being demolished and re-stacked it log by log before meticulously restoring it to what it is today.
Step outside and you'll see the hoophouse where Jon and Rikki grow organic produce.
The cabin rental starts at $165 nightly for two guests. Each additional (adult) guest is $35 per night. The peace and relaxation you'll feel here is priceless.
Book your stay at this beautifully restored cabin here. After all, there’s never a bad time to visit Virginia City.
