And if you happen to be hiking the Lake Como Loop Trail in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, you can have a little bit of everything, scenery-wise. Montana’s Lake Como is just as enchanting as Italy’s… and this trail will take you all the way around it.

Lake Como is located about 11 miles from Darby in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley.

It's an extremely popular tourist destination, especially in the summertime.
The Lake Como Loop Trail, as the name implies, wraps all the way around the lake.

This means the trail spans over seven miles. But if you're up for a hike of that length, you shouldn't encounter anything too treacherous. The hike is considered an easy one.
The trail starts out with a nice, flat section, which is paved for about the first quarter of a mile.

Soon, you'll cross a pack bridge across Rock Creek. The bridge is nice and sturdy, and you'll see some wonderful views.
