The Easy Trail In Montana That Will Take You To The Top Of The World
Hiking is a worthwhile pastime in Montana for two reasons: You get some great exercise, and you get to take in scenic views of the most beautiful state in the country. And if you pick the right trail, you can do both without exerting yourself too much.
Bozeman’s M Trail is one of those hikes, and it’s easy to see why it’s so popular.

Just follow Rouse Avenue until it becomes Bridger Canyon Road and find the trailhead at Route 86.

But don't think that means it will be entirely easy... you'll still have a climb ahead of you.

Neither is extraordinarily difficult, but both paths are just challenging enough.

The view from the M really is incredible.

And even though this trail can get crowded, it's always a hike worth taking.
Bozeman’s M Trail is a perfect pick for those days when you feel like hiking but don’t have all day. And if this trail isn’t within driving distance, one of these three mile (or less) trails might suffice.
