This Old-Fashioned Montana General Store And Motel Has Been In The Same Family Since 1924
Babb, Montana has a population of 72, so calling it a small town would be a bit of an understatement. And while it’s safe to say there’s not much going on in this tiny Glacier County community on the Blackfeet reservation, it does see an influx of tourists in the summertime who are on their way to Glacier National Park.
Babb’s lone general store is open seasonally from May – October. It has also been owned and operated by multiple generations of the same family since 1924.

The convenient location makes it a popular place to stop in the summer.

The motel has both single and double rooms. Unfortunately, due to the building being extremely old, it is not wheelchair accessible.

It's open daily from 7:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. for your shopping and shelter needs, but if you're visiting after Labor Day weekend, make sure to call them to see if the motel is still open.
