Sometimes the best way to celebrate a special occasion or break free from a mundane rut is to spend a weekend at a luxury hotel. And while Billings isn’t exactly a booming metropolis, it is Montana’s largest city — and it has a lot to offer. In fact, Billings’ Northern Hotel is a fantastic place to stay, and it plays a big role in the local history. Come see why so many people have fallen in love with this place for over a century.
The Northern Hotel was completed in 1904, two years after construction was started by P.B. Moss and Colonel Henry W. Rowley.
The hotel attracted many prominent people for decades. Unfortunately, the original building burned to the ground in 1940. But thankfully, it was promptly rebuilt.
The ambiance here can best be described as unpretentious historic luxury.
Of course, no one will blame you if you spend your time relaxing at this charming hotel.
Plush robes, cozy beds, and room service sound wonderful. Have you ever stayed at the Northern Hotel in Montana before? If so, please share your experience in the comments below!
