Get A Taste Of Old-Fashioned Montana Hospitality At The Lakehouse At Georgetown Lake
Georgetown Lake is an extremely underrated Montana destination. Located in Deer Lodge and Granite Counties and surrounded by three mountain ranges, it’s a fantastic spot for fishing, camping, and lakeside lounging. It’s also where you’ll find The Lakehouse at Georgetown Lake, formerly known as the Brown Derby Bar & Inn. This is an iconic treasure with great hospitality and delicious food.

This is one of Montana's most beautiful and underrated areas.

The new owners reopened it in 2012, and although it has been fully renovated and renamed, it's as warm and welcoming as it always was.

But the best time to come in is definitely on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening -- those are Steakhouse Menu nights, and prime rib is the specialty here.

The restaurant always stays fairly busy, but in the summertime, it stays perpetually packed.

They've all been recently remodeled as well. A room here only costs $79 per night, and some of them have bunk beds perfect for young travelers.

The Lakehouse at Georgetown Lake is open daily from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
