The stroopwafel is a Dutch delicacy, and they’re practically impossible to get in the U.S. But don’t worry, a couple of locals learned the secret to perfecting the art of the stroopwafel, and now you can enjoy them right here in Montana.

And although this place has been around for a decade, many Montanans have no idea it exists.

This place is warm, welcoming, and always inviting.
It all started when Jan Boogman, who was born and raised in Utrecht, the Netherlands, decided he wanted to bring the delicacy of the stroopwafel to America. Stroopwafels are a traditional Dutch treat from the city of Gouda

Jan ran track as a young adult, and that's how he met his wife, Judy, a born-and-raised Montanan. The two of them decided to make the stoopwafel more accessible.
