To the outside world, certain habits we have here in Montana might not make sense. We wouldn’t know, and more importantly, we don’t care… to us, it’s all just a part of life in the Treasure State. If you call us on these tendencies, we’ll defend them to the death.

Winters are long in Montana, so we get acclimated quickly. So sometimes a 60 degree day feels like an 80 degree day to us, and we get excited and reach for the short sleeves. We can't help it.

It's a polite thing that many of us were raised to do, and we love being able to brighten people's days.

We live in Big Sky Country because we like our space. Even our larger cities are fairly small compared to other states' urban areas. Some people might think we're crazy for our choosing the quiet life of the country, but we wouldn't want it any other way.

We'll be the first to admit the Testicle Festival is a little odd. But normal can be boring... and besides, Montana isn't the only state that has them.
