As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
If you’ve lived in Montana for any stretch of time, you know stargazing is one of the best ways to enjoy the big skies… and it’s beautiful in any season. And if you’re lucky enough to land a night at this unique cabin, you and your special someone can take in the views of the night sky at the same time. This cozy little abode is set up with see-through panels to allow for some serious stargazing.
This cabin, known as The Blind, is located near Missoula in the Bonner area.
The bathroom requires a short uphill walk and the shower is solar-powered, so showers may not always be possible. There is a small kitchen in the cabin for making morning coffee and tea, but guests also have access to a nearby barn which has a full kitchen, a large refrigerator, a couch, electricity, and internet hook-ups.
But despite not having a lot of modern amenities, this is still an amazing place to stay.
Guests are highly encouraged to explore. And if you leave the property, you'll have plenty of outdoor adventures nearby, as well as all of the amenities in Missoula.
This one-of-a-kind cabin rents for $134 per night and is the perfect space for two.
