More specifically dedicated in honor of the Nelson Story family, the soldiers were sent to New Guinea during World War II. In an even more sad turn of events, all of the soldiers would eventually die from diseases and wounds that went untreated. Today, the chapel serves as a beautiful place to honor our fallen soldiers, a favorite location for our residents to visit during holidays like Veterans Day.
