The One Annual Winter Festival In Montana Every Montanan Should Bundle Up For At Least Once
The majority of Montanans don’t hibernate all winter long. We appreciate having all four seasons in the Treasure State. That being said, when the temperatures drop and the snow starts to pile up, it can be tempting to stay inside until warmer weather arrives.
But no matter how you might feel about winter itself, we highly recommend bundling up and heading to Butte on January 21, 2022 for the annual SNoFlinga festival. This is one winter weekend you won’t want to miss.

Designed to promote winter recreation in the Butte area, it has become a beloved local tradition over the years.

And in the early weeks of 2016, the first SNoFlinga was held.

The goals are simple: to get people outside, to bring the community together, to encourage people to be active, and most importantly, to encourage falling in love with winter.

You can try the Polar Plunge at Mountain Con Mine on Saturday, if you dare.

The demonstration ends just in time for opening ceremonies at 5 p.m.

Make family memories while learning to love the snowy season.
