Escape To Ross Creek Cedar Grove For A Beautiful Montana Nature Scene
Part of Montana life involves love and appreciation for nature. Whether you’re a hiker, a hunter, a skier, or just enjoy camping and getting lost in the great outdoors, there’s no doubt you like to be outside when the weather allows. And while we have some pretty diverse scenery in the Treasure State, nothing quite compares to the Ross Creek Cedars. This scenic area is absolutely enchanting.

This 100-acre scenic area in Northwest Montana is home to a huge grove of giant, ancient western red cedars.

Once you find it, you'll discover a paved nature trail that will guide you through the forest with informational signs along the way.

This place is so peaceful, and the atmosphere is very rainforest-like.

The scenic area is for day-use only. However, if you'd like to spend the night in the area, Bad Medicine Campground is located nearby.

It's protected for its scientific and recreational value.

You won't find a place like this anywhere else in the state.
