The Ross Creek Cedars Scenic Area is located in Lincoln County, in the Kootenai National Forest.

This 100-acre scenic area in Northwest Montana is home to a huge grove of giant, ancient western red cedars.
The public scenic area is located about 29 miles south of Troy off Highway 56 on Ross Creek Road 398.

Once you find it, you'll discover a paved nature trail that will guide you through the forest with informational signs along the way.
Some of the trees are over 500-1,000 years old, and some grow up to 12 feet in diameter and 175 feet in height.

The trail is just under a mile in length and takes you through some of the most scenic parts of the area.
