Enjoy Award-Winning Beer And Tasty Burgers On The Red Lodge Ales Patio In Montana
Craft beer in Montana has come a long way in the last decade, but the little city of Red Lodge’s history with beer goes back much farther. Before the times of Prohibition, Red Lodge Brewing Company made great local brew. Many decades later, in 1998, Sam Hoffmann opened this downtown Red Lodge brewery. These days, the patio of this inviting brewery is one of the best places in town to be.

You'll find the beer on tap throughout town and the Yellowstone region, but nothing tops drinking it where it's born.

It doesn't get more local than this.

The patio is open whenever the weather allows, and it's fantastic.

From live music to Oktoberfest fun and other events, days spent here tend to be quite energetic.

At the on-site Sam's Tap Room & Kitchen, you can treat yourself to delicious burgers, applewood-smoked BBQ, and sandwiches piled high with toppings. When the beer garden isn't open, you can always call ahead and get your meal to-go.

While they're not able to offer tours just yet (and the kitchen is short-staffed, so please be patient), they hope to be back at it again in no time.
