When it comes to natural beauty, it’s impossible to choose one area of Montana that’s the best. Pretty much every corner of the Treasure State is, well, full of spectacular natural treasures waiting to be discovered. While Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks come to mind, we’re particularly fond of the spots that get less attention, such as Rattlesnake National Recreation Area. Check this out!
The Rattlesnake National Recreation Area spans 28,000 acres near Missoula. It's right next door to the Rattlesnake Wilderness, for a total of 61,000 acres of spectacular natural beauty.
You'll find plenty of ways to explore this gorgeous recreational area; with 73 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, there's something for everyone.
