Some people are lucky enough to be born and raised in Montana. Others find it later in life, but they adjust so quickly that you’d swear they were native Montanans.

6. You make eye contact, smile often, greet strangers politely and hold doors open for others because that's just how you were raised.

This behavior certainly isn't exclusive to Montana, nor is every Montanan polite. But you won't meet many who don't have great manners.
