Unless you’re from Eastern Montana or you’ve traveled across the state, you may not have heard of Scobey. This little city in Daniels County is home to about 1,050 people, and it’s a very quiet place to live. But just west of Scobey sits the Daniels County Museum and Pioneer Town, a historical masterpiece everyone in Montana should visit.
The museum and pioneer town have limited hours from Labor Day weekend to Memorial Day weekend, so call (406-487-5965) before you go. And if a trip to Scobey isn’t in the cards right now, here are some other great places to visit.
