Feast On European-Style Treats At This Irresistible From-Scratch Bakery In Montana
Where do you go when you find yourself with a sweet tooth in the Treasure State? Montana has an abundance of bakeries, and for that we are thankful. But if you live near Helena, we hope you’ve had the chance to try the sweet treats at Park Avenue Bakery. The European pastries are out of this world.

This place has been a Helena staple for over 25 years.

This is the site of the historic Eddy’s Bakery, a popular business with a huge brick oven that once cranked out 2,000 loaves a day (and sold them for a mere three cents a loaf). Eddy’s Bakery was a local icon in the 1930s.

Current owners John and Renee Kowalski bought a new Italian steam deck oven after taking over the bakery in 2004 to ensure they could provide the community with the European-style goodies they have come to love.

They're made from scratch daily, and only the finest ingredients will do.

Their special occasion cakes include Earl Grey, Blue Raspberry, and Mudslide, just to name a few.

The bakery serves both breakfast and lunch, and the options are delicious.

If you're just passing through town or you'd like to keep your stop quick, you can pre-order your goodies online.
